Wardha sits about 75 km from Nagpur, which makes the Nagpur ICDs the natural customs gateway for the district. Routing
There are two practical routings for a Wardha container, and the right one depends on cargo type, urgency and cost.
Sea cargo moves by rail from JNPT to a Nagpur ICD, clears there, and travels the last 75 km to Wardha by road. Usually the lower-cost option for non-urgent shipments.
Clearance is completed at Nhava Sheva and the container is trucked straight to Wardha. Faster overall transit, and preferred for time-critical or oversized consignments.
Export cargo from Wardha or Hinganghat moves to a Nagpur ICD for Shipping Bill clearance, then onward by rail to JNPT.
