Gateway Clearance
Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill filing at JNPT Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port and Mumbai Airport through our owned Navi Mumbai office, with CFS coordination at Vashi, Turbhe and Kalamboli.
Customs Clearance
Maharashtra is the one state where we hold offices at both ends of the move. ACSPL has been a licensed customs broker since 2006, with an owned head office in Nagpur filing at all three inland depots — ICD Nagpur (MIHAN), ICD DLI (Borkhedi) and ICD Adani Nagpur — and an owned branch office in Navi Mumbai working JNPT (Nhava Sheva), Mumbai Port and Mumbai Airport. That means inland clearance and gateway clearance are handled by the same company rather than handed to a correspondent.
What We Handle
Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill filing at JNPT Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port and Mumbai Airport through our owned Navi Mumbai office, with CFS coordination at Vashi, Turbhe and Kalamboli.
Filing at all three Nagpur ICDs for cargo originating in or destined for Vidarbha and central Maharashtra, with rail connectivity onward to JNPT.
HS classification, anti-dumping verification, BIS and EPR checks, EPCG and Advance Authorization handling, and IEC, AD Code and ICEGATE registration support.
Both Ends Covered
Cities & Districts
Detailed guides for the districts we handle most often. Cargo from anywhere else in the state is equally welcome.
Head office city. Import and export filing at ICD MIHAN, ICD DLI Borkhedi and ICD Adani Nagpur, with JNPT coordination.
Owned branch office. Gateway clearance at Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port and Mumbai Airport, with CFS coordination at Vashi and Kalamboli.
Roughly 75 km from Nagpur. Cotton, agro and engineering cargo from Wardha MIDC and Hinganghat.
The Nandgaon Peth textile park and the surrounding ginning belt, roughly 155 km from Nagpur.
Edible oil, pulses and seed processing, where direct JNPT clearance is often the better routing.
Coal, power, cement and paper. Project imports and fast-track clearance for urgent plant spares.
Also handled regularly: Yavatmal, Bhandara, Gondia, Washim, Buldhana, Hinganghat, Butibori, Hingna, Katol, Kamptee, Achalpur, Ballarpur, Nashik, Pune and Aurangabad.
Routing
Within Maharashtra the choice is usually between clearing at the gateway or railing inland first. We hold offices for both.
Clearance completed at Nhava Sheva or Mumbai Port by our Navi Mumbai office, then road movement inland. Faster overall transit.
The container rails to a Nagpur ICD and clears there, closer to the consignee. Often the lower-cost routing for Vidarbha cargo.
Export cargo moves from the plant to the chosen clearance point for Shipping Bill processing.
Shipping from outside Maharashtra? See where we operate — we clear cargo across India.
Industry Expertise
The state spans heavy industry, textiles and agro-processing, each with its own duty structure and regulatory profile.
Raw material and capital equipment imports, alloy inputs with anti-dumping verification, and fabricated engineering exports.
Spinning and processing machinery under EPCG, with raw cotton, yarn and made-up exports from the Vidarbha belt.
Processing and plant equipment imports, project import registration for expansions, and processed commodity exports.
Our Approach
FAQ
At the three Nagpur ICDs — ICD Nagpur (MIHAN), ICD DLI Borkhedi and ICD Adani Nagpur — and at JNPT Nhava Sheva, Mumbai Port and Mumbai Airport. Both the Nagpur and Navi Mumbai offices are owned, not associate arrangements.
It depends on the consignment. Gateway clearance at JNPT is usually faster; inland clearance at a Nagpur ICD is often cheaper for Vidarbha-bound cargo. Because we hold offices at both ends we have no incentive to push one over the other, and we compare both before you decide.
Yes. Cargo for western Maharashtra is normally cleared at JNPT or Mumbai Port by our Navi Mumbai office, with road movement onward. Those districts do not have their own guide page yet, but they are handled routinely.
Yes. Our Navi Mumbai team handles clearance at Mumbai Airport alongside the sea gateways, which matters for urgent spares and time-sensitive pharmaceutical or electronic consignments.
Yes. Road and rail movement between the gateway, the ICDs and the consignee facility is arranged as part of the same engagement, so clearance and delivery stay under one point of contact.
Generally 2–4 working days from filing to out-of-charge with complete documents, at either the gateway or an inland ICD. Examination, testing or regulatory clearance can extend this, and we flag that as soon as it is known.
